Anyone had experience with this? I'm getting a Glide and want to customize it beyond the decals I could buy....thinking of stencilling something on but I'm not sure what paint to use that would withstand the flex and also saltwater?

I've never tried it, might be worth contacing a boating supply place I'm sure there is something specifically for fiberglass, hardware stores sell stuff thats supposed to be for plastics etc but it sucks, for art I found rustoleum to be my favorite for stencils-sticks to the widest range of materials but not tried it on fiberglass

Hah hah cool. I'm kinda anti-glitter though. But at least it can be done!

You can make the design on the computer, find a company that makes folia for signs to print it on folia and simply aply the folia to the fin (one BIG custom made sticker)

In that case you will not loose flexibility, you can change/ remove the design easyly and at the same time it will protect your fin against scratches ect.
