Papa Smurf hits South Florida in June!!

Hi folks,

Just to let you know that i'm planning a trip with my significant other smurfette to visit South Florida from 11th June - 18th June. We'll be staying in Fort Lauderdale but if enough interest is out there would organise an evening get together for people in Fort Lauderdale or Miami for some good food, drinks and conversation.

What do people think? Either way drop me a note in the thread and we can plan some catch ups whilst i'm stateside.

Right - Papa Smurf and Smurfette are refining our plans. Going to spend 11 - 16 in Fort Lauderdale and then drive down to Miami and stay in Biscayne Bay for a couple of days before flying back.

You won't believe how excited I am about have a decent holiday....!

And Jim is right - going out drinking with me is dangerous - South Beach didn't know what hit it a few years ago when I arrived for a DEMA show. Very, very funny time.

I am definately in for some fun. Sadly, I had planned to take you, Smurfette, and anyone else out on my bro-in-law's 35' boat (he lives on the water with the boat docked out back) around lauderdale and to dinner on the water at the Blue Moon, but two weeks ago one of the power heads blew on the boat and it won't be repaired in time.

Blue Moon is still a go, but we will be pulling up in a car instead.

So - had dinner with Paul Kotik and Martin Stepanek last night. Ended up in some crazy swingers bar that Paul seemed to know...the last photo showing how concerned I was!
