Hey all. Does anybody know what the pads on the Paradisia are made of? Also, what materials do you use when your pads die to substitute them?

It is certainly deerskin - the thing for cleaning windows. You get it in any drugstore or a gas station. I am not sure if it really comes from deers, but it is called so anyway (at least here). You can also order the Paradisia repair kit (costs 5€ - 4 spare pads + a spare thread).

EDIT: You can also use a piece of rubber or silicon - it may offer little bit more elasticity and comfort.

I use chamois cloth (possibly the same as what trux is talking about), glued on with neoprene glue. Works a treat

Yes, chamois and deerskin is the same thing (well, perhaps not in the original sense of the words, but these names are used for describing the leather cloth used also for cleaning windows)

trux, chrismar, watts, thank you for your replies. Yes I was thinking it was chamois leather, but it's so thin. I don't think I've ever come across a piece of chamois so thin. I'll try to find it though. Thank you guys again!
