So I bought some Fins4U Pure Evolution fins last year and that came with Pathos Fireblade foot pockets.
I'm wearing them with 1.5mm socks. First pair were size 40-42, correct length but too wide for my feet resulting in too much sideways movement inside pocket.
So I exchanged for size 38-40 which turned out to be bit too tight and my toes poke out of the end.
My conclusion was although they are great fins and pockets they just don't match my narrow foot shape.
So, I am now looking to buy some Alchemy blades and fit with different foot pockets…
I do like the light weight and responsiveness of the pathos but as i said they just aren't right for my feet…
Any idea on good foot pockets for me?

I put on 2 sets of socks and crammed them into my Pathos pockets then used a hair drier to heat the areas that had too much pressure.
They now fit like custom made pockets :)

Hey guys i am set on on buying a pair of Pathos Fireblades to go with my new Spierre pure carbon blades but I am having difficulty choosing the size because I dont have a local dealer to try them out. My current foot pockets are Omer Millenium in size 38/40. These are wide and I have tto wear them with 5mm socks. How do the pathos compare to Omer in size???

Hi Milan,

The size transfer are more or less the same between Omer and Pathos, as such my Pathos foot pockets are the same size as my Omer foot pockets.

The Pathos foot pockets are however wider than the Omer ones, so I wonder if it's a good choice seeing as you are already finding the Omer foot pockets wide?

Hey thanks for the reply, a friendly dude from Fins4U just sent me the measurements of length and width for the pathos in sizes 36/38 and 38/40. The Pathos 36/38 are the same length as my omer millenium 38/40 but they are narrower since they are a smaller size and that is perfect for me. The smallest size that Omer make is 38/40 while Pathos make the 36/38.

hi guys, i find the cressi or beuchat foot pockets to be the narrowest.
i hope to have a slightly more detailed size chart for the pathos foot pockets shortly

on the size differences, i had before omer millenium 42-44, but found the pathos 44-46 was a better fit for me - im a uk size 9 and wear a 3mm sock if this helps!

Hi guys, so Omer Millennium are narrower than Pathos? Also, what is the difference between Omer Stingray and Omer Millennium?
