recently I had the urge to buy something and got myself a peli mini flasher 2130 tiny as this thing is and rated to 150m, I wanted to try it out for two purposes:
1. to attach to people's mask straps for more visibility when doing safety in these dark waters.
2. To act as a beacon on the bottom plate, which helps greatly when going to new depths in complete darkness. Seeing the bottom plate like that somewhat feels like coming home from the freezing night to a lit fireplace and Your loved ones waiting for You with some hot tea. :inlove - well, kind of like that..
For both purposes, I can to say that this is a good deal. RRP is 13€, so it won't break Your bank and it's very small and light to carry along - I now have mine permanently fixed to my mask band, unless I want my buddy to wear it or it goes down with the rope.
The next thing is a peli LED headlamp 2680 that makes me very curious. Also rated to 150m and for ~80€ this thing has me itching. I'm a fan of headlamps anyway, and this thing... well, You can imagine.
Does anyone have any experience with this thing or similar ones? Anyone with a peli light that uses their recoil module?
