Watercolours Dive Centre is seeking Instructors for the 2009 season, which starts in Febuary. We have a number of vacancies starting at different times of the year. We are based on the Perhentian Islands of Malaysia. Please see www.watercolours.com.my to see more about our business and the islands.

Your role will be a mixture of instructing and leading dives. Simple twin-share accommodation and local style food is provided. The Perhentian Islands are not particularly developed so living conditions are a little basic compared with other parts of the world. However, we are not remote so whatever is not available on the islands can easily be obtained.

The diving is typical of tropical reef environments and we also have 3 wrecks. We place an emphasis on quality service whilst retaining the relaxed atmosphere of a beach-front centre. We also teach our customers a little about the marine life so applicants must have a strong interest in and be prepared to learn about our local creatures. Basic training is provided for this. Applicants with conservation experience or a strong interest in marine conservation are particularly encouraged.

We pay a basic salary plus commission for every student taught/guided diver. For further information please contact Peter at

job@watercolours.com.my.

Please include a cv and recent photo.
