Hallo guys,
I am doing this spearfishing thing for 3 years now, mostly in and around caves in Croatia with a 65cm band-gun. But now I decded to buy a bigger one for bigger fish and other terrain. I informed myself a little bit in the www and now I dont know what would be better for me: The Beuchat Marlin Carbone 95 or the Mares Phantom Carbone 95 or even 110?
please help.

Just came across your post. I personally prefer the Mares Phantom Carbon 95. I dive here in South Florida and find that although very similar in construction I get more accuracy distance and penetration with the Mares. I also spear around coral heads and overhangs and find that even for those unexpected 15 to 20 pounders that unexpectedly show up, the Mares never fails.

Hi, I personally can't compare the the two different brands, However, since you already have a short gun, I would get the 110cm. Then you will be ready for the world. Just a thought.:)
