I'm just getting into Free diving and looking to get a pair of plastic Long blades that I can bang up for my first season. I've looked at several brands and have found little info or reviews for Picasso America, specifically their Black Team Fins.

Does anyone have any experience with them? Or would somebody be willing to provide me with a brief review of current plastics.... I'm open to any recommendations you guys have.

Thanks.

-Dan

I have two pair of Black Team pockets and find them very nice. They are soft and comfortable across the top but have a rigid sole for transfer of leg power to the blades.

However, I have fiberglass Edge and Matrix blades in them, and have no experience with the plastic blades. A lot of people see to swear by them though. All I can vouch for is the foot pockets.

I wore them for a while, but found the blades to be too stiff. I put specialFins medium fiberglass blades in and was very happy for a while. The edge fiberglass blades seem to stay in the Picasso pockets, but the Specialfins were designed for Omer. After one came out while in Hawaii I changed to Omer pockets. Both footpockets seem to work well.
I am using Imersion greens at the moment (big footpocket for thick booties in cold water) and find them to be the best plastic blades I've used.

Thanks for the great info guys, I really appreciate it. I'm still doing research on whats out there for plastic blades (I havn't decided on anything just yet), but I'd love to hear input form anyone who would like to make recomendations.
