hi all,
is the picasso spider 75 a good gun? im looking for a good 75 gun under £85. the one in my local dive shop is a picasso spider. im going to be spearfishing around the rocks for bass and pollack so am aware that a 75 will be the best size for me.
ATB,
Aaron

Not familiar with that model but just found a picture of the carbon version and looks ok to me:

Most of the popular brands have decent, affordable models. I found 75cm to be a good size for Dorset & S. Devon.

I've never used one but I believe the Beuchat Mundial is v. good gun. I almost bought a used one when I started(somebody beat me to it). Beuchat seems to make decent gear on the whole and I believe the Mundial is a "proper" speargun, not one of their low-end models which have, perhaps, somewhat compromised design for the sake of economy.
