this is the effesub green camo suit. 2mm open cell. Very comfortable and warm. Water temp here in HI is between 75-78 degrees Ferenheit. Not sure what that equates to in centegrade (damn americans:blackeye)

I like the velcro strap much better than the button beaver tail. Seems to be holding up rather well though the suit is pretty new. Got this suit at Maui Sporting Goods which has a shop here on Maui and one on Oahu. Im sure you could find it if you googled it.

Aloha

Thanks a lot mate!!! That really answered my questions. Do you think you can still use it for 86 F and above? I'm planning to get it for my summer suit coz im over heating with 3.5 mm and it really matches the color of my DiveR camo fins. Is the pants reaching above the chest line or just below it?

Thanks again, i really do appreciate what you did.:friday

86degree water? Holy monkey! Thats pretty warm, and your already using a 3.5 mil suite? I would melt. This suit is about as thin as I would go for hawaii waters 75-78 F. I used it in Mexico in 81-82 F water and it was pretty warm though Im pretty sensitive. I dont like being tool warm at all. Id almost rather be a little chilled so If you are comfortable being warm than the suit is great. Keep in mind, though Im sure your aware, that the suit doubles up in the torso area so your going to have a 4 mil suit there.

Is your suit open cell or closed cell? Ive noticed that the open cell is a lot warmer than closed.

Yep its an open cell, this time of the year is ok but when summer comes i dont wear the jacket i just wear a rashguard on top but no hoods for the jellys, i wanna avoid the sun rays and occasional jellys thats why im looking for like a 1.5 mm camo full suit with hood. I also have long hair which is a hassle with the mask and snorkel but Fondueset gave me the idea of the swim cap. An optional hood is also an option. I guess i have to scrap the 2 mm then. I think the omer dahlak is the only way to go with the loading pads.

Cheers mate!!! Thanks for your help:friday
