I just got back from an awesome trip to Dean's Blue Hole on Long Island, Bahamas. I have a friend who has a private plane and we went over with Niki Roderick (New Zeland Record holder in CNF and FII director) because she's training for the Vertical Blue competition that William Trubridge hosts every year.

We did a little bit of spearfishing but mostly freedove.. I did get a nice Nassau grouper and we ate him up that night...

There's not much on the island but it is a BEAUTIFUL place to freedive and spearfish.

Here are the pics. Enjoy!!

Spearfishing among those huge boulders -- where on the island is that? I might want to check it out while I'm still here.
