Thanks for the photos and drawings, Vali! We can see a very experienced hand. They look technically very professional. Ain't you an architect?

Interesting - curious and provoked by your claim, I researched more information about the lake, and found also many quite nice photos. I was curious if it was a natural lake or human-built dam and found that the lake was formed by a land-slide in early 19th century.

Since dams with rests of buildings or forests are quite popular among divers in the Czech Republic (in spite of difficult and dangerous conditions - very low visibility, cold water, streams, dangerous and possibly moving obstacles,...), so I wondered why would it be different at the Lacul Rosu. Danger and bad conditions would only rarely scare off adventurers - quite the opposite is true. And indeed, although I did not find any underwater photos, I found some references to Lacul Rosu on several diving websites, and also this article. Although it is in Romanian, there is an English abstract, showing that it was written by a diver:
The Lacul Roşu lake is a natural dam lake and it belongs to a very picturesque natural reserve of complex (geological, botanical and landscape) importance. Seen from the underwater view, with the diver's eye, the surprises of the lake are major: tree trunks are still vertical, in central areas the ground is horizontal because of vegetal clasts accumulated in huge quantity, the fauna is rich and friendly, everything excepting the last aspect inviting to forget the underwater environment and to belive in a legendary, maybe a rather melancholic forest. Seen with the paleobotanist's eye, the lake has again surprises because the vegetal deposits and in situ trunks may reveal their history.

thanks for passing by:)
indeed i'm architect:)
i said that "red lake" is no suitable for diving, because the visibility is very poor [under one meter], and because of the conditions [many trees in the water]...only the experienced scuba can do dive there...
i will post some more pictures:)

i have never posed naked for someone to draw/paint me.. must be an erotic experience, although as an artist, you probably see it in a different light? Do you?

in a way is some erotic in all this....but i guess that i've been use to it....
toulouse lautrec once said: before I can draw a woman, I must have sex with her, otherwise i cannot fully understand her
i don't know how much is true or not in this, but who am I to argue Toulouse Lautrec?:D
more drawing is on the way...DIVA:)

Incredible work Vali! I really appreciate your style and topic interests. It makes me dream of furthering to learn about drawing and painting. Keep sharing!

Romania is a spectacular place to be inspired by its natural beauty. I was there a couple years ago. Look forward to seeing more.

Cheers,
Tyler

All I can say is that I miss those places! So long since I've been there last!
And about the drawings, they are unbelievable! I've seen some of them on visualart.ro and it's nice to see them again in here!

you dive in visualart?
have u a specific user on VA??

I was mostly looking through the visualart site, posted just a few times... I was born in Bucharest and moved to Los Angeles 8 years ago. Since then I've barely got the chance to go vizit.

there is a region in romania called BUCOVINA
an island of beautiful landscapes and religion
in this region many church was builded by former rulers in the middle age as a thanks to god after various victorious war against otoman empire
two of them bellow
the architecture of the church is a gothic one
in ortodox religion, the gothic style is not so impetouos and big as in the catholic; it is sayd that when you eneter in this house of god you must be humble, and there is no need to built high structures to impress god because our believs allone must be high...

first MOLDOVITA
second PUTNA
