Please help me choose my first wetsuit

I've been fly, lure and carp fishing for years, but in the summer a work colleague took me to Bournemouth and introduced me to spearfishing. This was an amazing experience and I loved it. He is not very experienced himself and has just started spearfishing.
I’m so glad to have found this forum. I wonder if someone can help me to choose the right equipment: Wetsuit, fins, gun and the rest. I've prepared 300 pounds for everything. Hopefully this amount would be enough to by decent gear, as from past experience I know if you buy cheap you buy twice. Can you pls recommend a wetsuit –thickens, make? I intend to start spearfishing around Bournemought, Brighton or anywhere that’s within 3 hours drive from London.

There are two main players if you want a custom made to measure suit Green Abstract Camo - DiveSkin - Quality Neoprene Products & Spear fishing & plenty reading here Wetsuits.
I really like the value for money Diverskin suits, you will want a 5mm suit for England.

Commanche 75 - good starter gun and solid, still got mine and still use it
Leader fins best value carbons on the market (Imo)
Elios camo custom
Budget busting know but any decent rubber belt to save messing about with cheap material belt.
Money spent....

I think I'll try Elios Shadow Camo 5mm, do you think that's good choice for a beginner in UK?

A 5mm for me in greece is enought with a west under it.A 7mm much better!
Omer has a begginer set very good.Carbon fins for a beginner just spending money.
Apnea xaos fin 90eur with changable blades,7mm suit about 150eur doesn't metter the name gun about 90cm about 150eur socks,gloves,knife,balloon 100eur.....

good price can't say whether its as good as the elios, which for me has been a great suit even if a tad more expensive.

What about this one, seems good to me for the price:

Why would you consider an off the peg suit for £150 when you can gt a MTM one with a fantastic reputation for less money?
Elios will take about 6-8 weeks to arrive but diveskin offers a very quick service, however it is winter so its a great time to order anyway.

Thanks Foxfish, as I’m standard size I thought I might as well get an of the peg suit, however I suppose you right that MTM would be the best. Which one would u recommend from the ellios site?

I would recommend a diveskin because I have owned both elios & diveskin & I feel the diveskin is much better value & even more so, "a much better service"!
However if you prefer the sound of an elios, then they are great suits too & you will have more choice of design!
Virtually all spearos use nylon lined outer & smooth skin interior however if you are not going to dive in Jan or Feb then consider a nylon lined interior as well.
If you choose that option the suit will last almost double the time but, you do loose some flexibility however in turn they are very easy to put on & take off....
There are a lot of followers of a smooth skin interior elios in 5mm & rightly so however a lot of these folk have not tried a MTM nylon lined suit so be open minded.
At the end of the day it is a personal choose as most modern suits are fantastic whether camo, plain, lined unlined

Looking at the ellios site the materials from which the costumes are made a described for example as:
smoothskin/nylon or nylon/cell ... etc.
Which one is the interior which's the exterior?
What's would be the difference between smoothskin and cell interior?
