What do the following terms mean when applied to freediving?

FRC

PBO

i am new to the sport and am avidly pursuing (as safely as possible) improvement in breath holding and technique....also frenzel, but this seems incredibly difficult to me and i am still doing the old Valsalva

anyways - any help with the terms would be greatly appreciated

thanks mates!

FRC = functional residual capacity, which means doing a dive without taking a full breath, but rather diving on the 'neutral point' between an inhale and an exhale.

PBO = don't know

PB = Personal Best
SWBO = shallow water black out

PBO= ?
