Hi all! i'm a new person in spearfishing,week ago bought all equipment and now ready to start! but i have some questions...5 days ago i been in lepe beach ( i'm from southampton) and visibility was about 1m only or less so it is not imposible to catch something i think...so question is - some one know some places where i can go near southampton area ( 50 miles area) if yes please write me how to find that places and how i can get there? and 2nd question is-i've been on lepe beach yesterday and i came when was a high tide,after 2 hours swimming took me 1 hour to get on coas (500m) because tide was wery strong...so question is-in what time of tide is better to go?and is the same power of tides is in all around uk or some where is stronger but some places no? i'm asking in my area and about 50 miles around southampton...thanks! p.s and give me any advises about spearfishing in sea,i never done it so i'm just lerning and trying to get all information what i can get! (and sorry for my english if i write something wrong,i'm russian :wave )
 
have a look on google maps for rocky sea bed. the visibility will better in those areas, not always but the rockyer the better plus they are a better habitat for fish and my favorite crabs and lobsters.
