Looking to discuss rigging slip tips for a pole spear. Trying to covert an old SS cable tip to a spectra tip. Trying to figure out how to rig a removable tip lines to float, as well as a standart slip tip to shaft set-up. Anyone w. ideas or info please let me know. I am looking to get a small, needle like tip, like the Icepick or something like that. It seems like the diameter being smaller makes it easier to put thru the fish... I dunno- Anyone have a favorite sliptip design or rigging technique>? I just got a Posidon Pole and trying to find out which tips interface well with this pole.

I don't have any idea of what you need in threading, but Gat-Ku has a very slim slip tip that goes on their pole spear. I very seldom lose a fish with mine. it always goes all the way through and toggles well.

Small hole, spectra line so it doesn't tear: everything about it is great except thea way to hold the tip on. I use small o-rings over the spectra, like they suggest. Works good, but I have gone through a bunch of them.. The only question is the threading size. Check with Gat-Ku for that.
