Hi Radek!

Do you have any information about the dive site and competition, or more specific:
Average surface temperature in end of July?
Distance from the shore to the dive line?
Is there a platform by the dive line, that can be used for resting prior to your dives?
If you're not polish, can you then compete in the same discipline all three days?

Thanks for the invitation!
Christian

I can answer two of your questions, the platform is pretty far from the shore; I would say around 500-700 meters. There is additional boat with a 20 meter line attached for freedivers to warm up. The surface temperature I'm guessing is about 18-22 degrees celcius. But you need to wait for more specific information.

Hi Christian

The average surface temperature in end of July is like Kajojek say 18-22 C degrees. Deeper than 8 m is 4 C degrees.

Distance from the shore to the dive line is aprox 500-700 meters but we have two special boat to transfer competitors to warm up and competition zone.

Yes we have a platform whit can be use for resting and also we have two boat near competition zone with can be use for the same.

Every one competitor can compete in the same discipline all three days but this way can’t collect the point for Polish Champion title. ;))

Hi. I would like to announce that we have two last place on the starting list.

Hey Kajojek!! I believe, if I am reading the first days results correct that you are leading with a 45 meter dive. For those of you that don't know this young man, he goes to high school in New York City (just entering yr three) but is a native of Poland where he goes back each summer. Living in NY he has very little opportunity to train. He made it to Dutch Springs one day this yr before heading over and told me just last week he has gotten very little training done there either. I have made online friends with Karol through Deeper Blue and I am very proud of what this young teen has been able to accomplish and wanted to give him a shout out here on the forum. I know his goal is 50 meters before the comp ends and have no doubt he will make it. Here is a link to the results. Mistrzostwa Polski w Nurkowaniu na wstrzymanym oddechu Go get em Karol!!!

7th Polish Freediving Championship has come to an end. Once again, despite being sick, Robert Cetler dominated the competition with easy dives to 35, 50 and 52 meters. Even though the depths were not staggering, fairly new competitors showcased huge potential. It is just a matter of time until they begin fighting for the trophy. Tomasz Bryl secured the second place and Karol Szaro was tied with Adrian Kwiatkowski for the third. Thanks to Radek Gaca's great organization, the competition ran smoothly each day. Not a single delay happened throughout those three days. Also it is important to note that there were no black outs. Platform cameraman had to be satisfied with just a small samba :)

On a less serious note, the local food was amazing and it was worth traveling to this forgotten place just to taste it. Personally I had a lot of time and met awesome people in this short period of time. I recommend everyone visiting us next year during "Crystal Clear Waters" competition or "Polish Championship" in two years. See you there. :friday
