Hi Guys

NDAC have pointed out that the mooring lines on our pontoon need replacing. I am going to get the rope this weekend (and hit you all for some donations towards it once I know what it comes to)

We need some Angels to
a) dive on the ropes and see what needs doing
b) dive on the ropes again and do the moorings

Obviously different depths will require different levels of ability but apparently the mooring depths vary from 30m to 70m so we will need a few of you

Sam

I'm in (as you already know)

Happy to do whatever is necessary. As I can't whistle while I work on the rebreather I will be mostly singing.... :t

Just thinking that it might also be a good opportunity to test out the FHOFs at depth - not on a real person, but see how much weight we can bag-up with the normal and super FHOF....

we are picking up another 400m of rope this weekend and the Angels are getting organised to put them in! SO our pontoon will no longer be floating off into the green (and I will be passing the gimp mask around to collect some money for new rope!)

the Angels are going to make some MONSTER dives to the bottom of the quarry to tie these mooring lines in so wish em luck!

Just let us know the damage Sam, what does 400m of rope come to these days ? Can you even get it all in the back of your car ?

lammy

ropes did fit in the car, damage not too bad - we can talk about it once we know the (probably greater) financial damage of sending some scubies to the bottom to fix them!

thanks
