Pool training snorkel

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.

I do a lot of kicking on surface,pool very shallow,I tape off part of the snorkel to increase the effort to breath.
 
That's a good way to reduce lung volume, quickly. Hopefully you do some pack-stretching.
 
i quote erik: apnea training is not "making effort to breath end getting used to it", but "learn to breath in the best way possible"
i think the best is practicing apnea in the pool and/or swimming, instead, and breathing exercise at home (something like pranayama or many other techniques...)
i'm sure you can find a lot of material in the training section
