I saw a picture of a pole spear that a guy made, and well it looks like some kind of metal with a bungee cord for the band. do any of you think that would actually work? And also I would like to make my own polespear. But I need it to colapse and I'm not sure how to do that.
Thanks Freshy.

i have heard of people use old golf club shafts, the recycling aspect sounds cool. The pointy bit could be a speargun shaft, the elastic some band rubber.

Thanks azapa I'll keep those suplies in mind, I have lot's of rubber and old golf clubs. Still looking for about 6' though, But the spear shaft could be modified to work like a slip tip, and add some length.

the golf club bit could 2/3 of the length, the spear shaft the other 1/3, should be long enough?
