We are looking for a truly great Dive Instructor or couple who can maintain the high standards that our reputation has been built on and who will really enjoy tackling the challenges and reaping the benefits of helping to manage a dive school on the beautiful shores of Lake Malawi.
Aqua Africa is not a resort. There's no maintenance team. Your nearest dive spares are three countries away. You'd have to get on a plane to get to a decompression chamber... BUT... Nkhata Bay, where we are located, is a legendary travellers' paradise, famous for its laid back atmosphere and gorgeous clear water. So if you love finding creative solutions to awkward problems, and if you can maintain a boat engine, service a reg, convince a skint backpacker to Discover Scuba and do it all with a sense of humour during electricity and fuel shortages you may just have come across your dream job.

We would love to employ a twosome if it worked – as well as diving, our on-site restaurant and accommodation have loads of potential for development and expansion. There's room in the house for a couple, and opportunities for an extra DM or for someone who can make a role for themselves. However, we're more than happy to look at single individuals too.
In return for all this we can offer you a basic salary as well as full board – living in a house looking out over the lake, shared with two other expats. You're not going to make your fortune working here, but you will live life to the full and what you do get, you can keep!
