Does anyone have or use a prescription diving mask? I have to wear glasses and when I dive I am finding it a little difficult to spot fish that my freinds keep getting to first so I was looking into prescription masks.

Is there any advice/tips about ones that are good and bad or anything that I should know before I just go out and buy one?

I have seen a few people use them and from what i can gather there are 2 types
You can get Stick on lenses that adhere to the inside of the mask but from what i have heard they have bad blind spots or you can get ground replacement lenses that replace the original lense and these are way better you can buy them to fit you exact eye requirements.
I think the replacement lenses cost allot more but what i can gather they are money well spent.
A specailest dive shop should be able to help you
I dont know what your vision problem is but my wife recently had laser surgery to correct hers and she has never seen clearer in her whole life
money very well spent.

I wear contact lenses behind my mask which works fine, but I also have a Mares Opera mask with prescription lenses - you can buy the lenses in any biggish dive shop and you just pop them in yourself. TUSA do the same
