Hi guys, I just I'm back to training my apnea for 3 weeks I had stopped for 2 years because of my studies my old pb was 4:00 static now I reached one a few days ago of 3:40
I have improved much in my abdominal breathing and I found I can pack preatty much but in training condictions I don't use it because it makes the thing much soft and steals the intensity of the training now the isssue is this:
on the 3:40 PB I got contractionas at 2:00
I gave it a rest of a day and got contractions at 1:30 gave it another day but this time I did a little aerobic training 1:20 and for the third time got the same early contraction
what's wrong with me?!?!?
I aelready make CO2 with so much ease but I can't push my contratactions futher please advice

Hi,
I should not worry about these "early" contractions. The onset of contractions is pretty much individual. What is considered to be more important is the ability to stand them, to get used to them. So you should do CO2 tables which should make you progress. The onset of contractions can be postponed by proper breath-up, by relaxation and by some warm-up breath holds. Lowering the initial level of CO2 would certainly delay the onset of contractions, but this is not the recommended way of improving in statics, as hyperventilation puts you in danger and do not allow you to really progress. In this forum there was a thread on statics without warm up - you should read posts given there by some very well known and experienced divers and maybe experiment on yourself, in light of these information.
Good luck,
Radomir
