Problem with monofinning

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
Sorry, more questions :
I'm using a stiff blade but tried my friend softer monofin today. It feels very different and easier to fin. How should the techniques vary when using soft vs stiff fins? I'm using Leaderfins.

For Beginners who are not strong I recomment a soft fin. Because it's easyer to bend, it's easyer to keep the legs straid and use the back.

I use mainly small scuba fins to practice strenght, technique, flex etc.

Mmm.......drats, I thought so. When I first took my fins out, I felt myself bending my knees too much to deal with the stiffness of the fins. With softer fins, I don't have that problem. It's getting better though.....I just need to build up leg strength. I been training monofin kick with my scuba short fins for awhile but switching to monofin felt very different.
