I am new to diving and I equalize at the surface and constantly as I go down. My ears feel OK but the pressure around my eyes and forehead is too much. I can't go father than 15 feet under and when I come up I get a strong migraine. How have any of you been able to get around this problem? I was going to try some allergy medication, any other suggestions?

Could this be mask squeeze? Try letting a little bit of air into your mask from your nose as you descend.

Hi Antone. if its not mask squeeze you might simply have a sinus-block problem, either temporary/acute or systemic/structural. Causes could be infection, season/weather, allergies, diet, air-conditioning etc. Whatever it might be I strongly suggest you make 'jala neti' part of your routine. Invest in a pot and start clearing your sinuses. Its a great natural way to maintain clean sinuses and airways - even for non divers. Good luck!
