Did anyone hear about the article in Journal of Neurosurgical Anesthesiology?

It has CT imagery of gas bubbles in brain following freediving and the person exhibiting DCS type symptoms.

Is this the first "proof" that we get bent? I know Neil from Dan had always said he seen that freediver report DCS like symptoms but that is not "proof" of freediving DCS.

I'm trying to find out if I have permission to post the article here and if so will post here.

Do you mean the CT images of Taravana cases? Otherwise there are some pretty well known cases of DCS, which were well documented (though I do not know whether a CT imagery is available) - for example the accident of Carlos Coste, or Benjamin Franz. And also some forum members were hyperbarically treated after a freediving DCS. Christian Maldamé suffered a moderately serious freediving DCS last year too. I was just communicating some other studies and data about freediving DCS with DAN, who is interested in the research of it lately (as you apparently know).

Some of the documents can be found here: documents DCS @ APNEA.cz

There are also some excellent threads here on DB, about freediving DCS.
