Yes, Im sure somewhere it has been covered before. I have done a search and found some info. Any additional would be greatly appreciated.
I just replaced my 12yo gear with a new Abyss set-up, LOVE it and want to take great care of it. My old Beauchat gear still looks good but has some slight surface corrosion on it. I used to use some silicone spray on the rubber and metal parts. I used care not to get the spray inside the regulator. This new regulator is all metal and Im hesitant to use the spray on the metal exterior. Is it ok to spray the outer metal or should I possibly spray a cloth then rub it down? I usually soak all my gear overnight in the tub before hanging it out to dry. Any advise? Plan on keeping it for a while.
