Proposal for AIDA Depth WC 2011 in Dean's Blue Hole, Bahamas

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
If you are keen to see the World Champs hosted in the Bahamas then let your AIDA national board know so that they can vote accordingly - voting closes on October 4th!

Yes, yes, a great one too, Will. As a technical geek, I appreacite your sense for details, for the precision of the file, all the diagrams (you have to have spent weeks on the document!), and for divers goodies like the live transfer from the depth (now, online streaming would be nice too!), etc.

If only it was better accessible from Europe!

And now we need such nice choices for the pool champs too!

fantastic proposal Will - well done.

i've only always heard amazing things about Dean's Blue Hole -- seems to me it would be an idyllic location, not to mention the extremely thorough safety and logistical aspects you have provided.

cheers,

kp

This is, by far, the best place to take out a freedivers potential on competition.

I sent my vote in!
William is a very conscientious organizer and the Bahamians are gracious hosts. It's a wonderful place for a competition.

Brilliant proposal, Will. The live video from depth will be phenomenal, and Dean's is one of the very few places in the world this can be realistically pulled off. You absolutely have my vote, and I'll let US Freediving know.
