Discuss regional reports or activities about spearing in Qatar

Okey Kutch what exactly you would like to know about Qatar?!?

I've been actively spearing since quite a time here, on an average of 3-4trips per week (offshore, inshore, reefs, blue water, wrecks etc....). Check www.stateofqatar.com as well and main1 and some recent posts in the spearo board.

Best regards !

Hi there, that is so cool if you do 3-4 trips per week? I'm interested to dive During Sunday to Thursday between 7:30am to 11:00am. Do we have reefs and blue water here in Qatar? I only know wrecks in Old Club and Inshore at New Club as well the inland sea.

Let me know where you do your diving for reefs and blue water? If you can give me some gps coordinates that will be great.

Kind regards,

Kutch

Hi there;

Of course there are plenty of reefs and blue water action here. You can check reefs in the inland sea (but be careful of very strong currents), also the north coast by madinat al-shamal at around 5 to 10km offshore, and west coast by dukhan and zikreet. As for blue water, you need a good sized and reliable boat to take you to some far offshore locations where you'll find lot of pelagic fish and feeding activities there.
