Question Question about Certifications

I'm wondering how transferable / recognized certifications are. Currently, the only certifications offered in my area are FII. I plan on traveling a lot in the coming years and am wondering if LVL 2 + FII certifications are transferable / recognized by other agencies.

I know AIDA is #1 with PADI starting to come up. If I were to move later, would I be able to 'move' a FII into an AIDA or would I have to start all over?
