I need to buy a free diving computer and came through the Oceanic Geo Scuba Diving wrist computer titanium.Did someone ever used one of these ,,or heared some good or bad news about it.??

Good overall dive computor, with pretty ok freediving functions only limitation is its small memeory for freedives, so if memory isnt important it is fine. if your looking for a freediving computor then the Aeris F10 is a much bettr option dedicated freedving computoe built on exactly the same hardware as the Geo just with different software, memory etc. Aeris and Oceanic are sister companies so the same quality applies across the brands.

I have one now and it works fine for freediving but like the last post said, it is short on memory. I think if you get the cable for linking up to your computer the memory is better. I am selling mine and getting the Aeris F.10 mostly because I only freedive. If you freedive and scuba this seems like a good choice. The main problem I have had with mine is when I get ready to dive and I don't preset for freedive it goes to gauge mode. When this happens you are stuck with gauge mode for 24 hours. Guage mode is a really basic scuba timer, so it will only show one dive for the day. As long as you remember to do this, no problem.

If you are interested, I'm selling mine with the protective face cover and extra velco wrist band for $300. I thought I would put that out there.

Aeris Manta Scuba and Free Diving Wrist Computer "Old Style"

if you want i can tell you how it is when i get it in a week or so. but i'm not sure how long the sale is on for

Mad props the Aeris Manta and the Oceanic Geo are Identical units. Oceanic and Aeris are sister companies.

for a dedicated freediving computor the F10 is buy far the best value for money option. and has all the functions a freediver would want.... with the acception of some VERY picky freedivers requirements.

well you would know more then me. i didn't have the 400 bucks to spend on the f10. i really wanted it but meh. i got the Aeris Manta as a gift so its what ill be using for the year coming up. by the way DD can you tell me if it tells your surface interval time in minutes and seconds or just minutes?
btw if all of deeperblue wants to get me an f10 that would be sweet :)

nothing wrong with the manta thats for sure! free dive mode on themis pretty god and very similar to the f10 just without the memery and the faster sampling rate thats all.

unusual because in Australia the Mandt/Geo is more expensive than the f10.

enjoy your new toy! it'll keep you amused for a while nd if you listem to it and set everything up it will help you stay safer during your divie sessions.
