Get yourself some 1KG (2.21lbs) or 2KG (4.42lbs) block weights and a rubber belt then see what works best in the shallows so you can calibrate your needs accordingly. Also depends at what depth you like to be neutral. Trial and error I suppose. Personally, I dont like to handle uncoated lead for obvious reasons so I go for coated blocks.

Thanks for the help..

8 hours and you're complaining? It's a smaller international forum. At least half of the subscribers are in bed when you're up.
A little patience is well rewarded here at DB... you choose.

Can I coat the lead weights I have?? Thanks..

Some paint would be almost as good if it worries you, I personally wouldn't bother. Seriously, try about 5 or 6 Kg, and adjust from there
