Hey guys,
I have some questions concerning the FRV:
a) Is it a proper substitut for a diving computer? I know of the clips from youtube an other sources that the Mark I came with a computer at the wrist. This changed with Mark II, and Mark II-S. However, does the LED indicate when you come near your max. depth or max time ? (via. flashing f.x.?)
If not, would it be possible to programm the device? All the sensor are there, and the LED for signal output.
Or do you have to buy an extra diving computer?

b) Would it be possible to connect a Mark II-S to the Mark I computer?

c) Since I am from Germany. The CO2 catridges could only be shipped. The question is. Are those CO2 catridges the same as are used in self-inflating vests for sailing? (150N / 250N)?
Could those be used instead?

I hope you can help me!
Thanks!

Since there were quite a couple of views and no one seemed to be possible to answer these question I wrote an email to Terry and got an answer straight ahead. (+1 on service, thanks a lot!)
For those who might have had the same questions, Terry allowed me to publish his answers concerning the Mark II-s.

a)The currrent version does not have a dive computer, but I recommend using the AERIS dive watch and set the surface timer to 15 seconds, for an audible reminder.

b) No

c) Yes, you can use them as long as they are 1/2 inch thread. You can purchase larger cylinders from Austria.

Thanks anyways, I guess these questions were quite specific and difficult to answer. I hope this might help the one or the other!
