Quick release Gopro mask mount

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.

Great job!! So how do you fix it to the mask? Screw into it?

yeah, some masks, that have the frame separated from the skirt, a hole can be drilled and then it's bolted. On other masks, that don't allow this, it would have to be glued (like with epoxy glue)
 
I tried your sliding mask mount today. It is awesome!

I have always used a mask mount rather than the gun mount and never had any problems. The only problem I had before was if I wanted to remove the gopro (to pose for a pic with a fish) I had to unscrew the mount which was a bitch because I always tightened the screw tight. So I gave up and ended up taking another mask with me and removed the mask entirely and wear the other mask to take a pic. Now, it is easy and fast to do and im incredibly happy with it!

Pics below show me and the mount is visibile for all to see. I just used a permanent marker to colour it black, I dont recommend using paint, just do what I did!
