RA gun safety problems

I recently just purchased a Rob Allen 700 Tuna and after i load the bands i cannot engage the safety. Does anyone know a trick or some way to fix this problem? If i load the gun with the safety already engaged its hard to disengage the safety, but once i take the safety into 'FIRE' it wont re-engage. Anyone else have this problem? Its a really nice gun but i dont want to shoot myself or a buddy if a weed or something gets caught on the trigger! HELP!

Sorry about this, it does happen occasionally due to the close clearances in this area. Post me privately and I'll show you how to sort it if you are a little practical, otherwise we will make another plan.

Most uses here disable the safety so it is seldom a problem but for those who do want it functional we can easily sort it.

If anyone cares, Rob Allen helped me sort this problem out. My safety works great now! Im very surprised and Very happy with the quick response my Mr. Allen regarding this problem. I now know why everyone told me to purchase an RA gun. (They work great and the customer service is the best ive ever experienced....Ever) Thx again Mr. Allen! :king
 
Sweet, I will have to get in touch with him too since mine does the same.

I have the RA 700 too, absolutely awesome gun. I am convinced that there is in fact ONE gun that will do it all. It is a perfect match for prairie Canadian lakes.
 
I've never used teh safety on mine so I'm not sure if it works or not lol.
Great customer care there from RA!
