Hi there,
I am Vlad - a greenhorn from Bulgaria. Very happy to join this wonderful forum and hope this is the begining of a great experience and finding friends!

I am planning to buy the above speargun (1 *16 mm band, 6.6mm spear) to spearfish at 20 m max (for now this is what my self confidence tells) , most probably without boat (but who knows), in Greece and the Med in general. Since I am from Bulgaria, I would be happy to shoot in the black sea, too. I am wondering if this gun would be suitable for fishing as I plan above? Or it is better to go for 100 or even 110 cm speargun?

Would you recommend me to order another band 16 mm or may be I should order 2 * 14 mm (in that case - what spear?) . I am 183 cm/90 kg, if that matters.

Thanks for your opinions , guys!

The lenght (and reach) of your speargun depends on the visibility. In Greece I think that the water is pretty clear. I would go with a 110 with 2 x 14 mm bands and 7 mm shaft.
