Can anybody recommend a raft or board of some sort for spearfishing/pole spearing for storing gear and such when diving and where to acquire it.

The board at decathlon is Beuchat by the way. The price difference between the two reflects the build quality and materials. You get what you pay for.
If you are located in the US check out Banks Board. There is one for sale on NorCal spearfishing forum. These are solid non inflatable boards built to last.
