I was talking to my Morrocan neighbor and she gets up at 4 AM to prepear everything for her family. It's pretty tough, with not even water until sunset. That takes a lot of will power.

I find the dedication of those following observance of Ramadan to be quite inspiring. Especially those who observe out of respect for the society in which they live. May we all live in peace and humour. Peace brothers and sisters.

Adrian, we get up at 0400 as well, as sunrise is at 0445. You need to eat something and drink water before then It is tough! At that time of the morning I am just not ready to eat Yesterday I went to the park, had a packet of oat cookies and water ready, I waited for the cannon to go off so I could eat. When it did i nearly jumped out my skin! rofl
What is a great sight to see, is all the free food given outside all the Mosques. Restaurants and families donate for Iftar and there are lots of people sitting peacefully on the pavement on rolled out carpets enjoying their break-fast.

Sorry to EVERYONE about the Name-calling myself & Freediver81 were involved in - (it was deleted-obviously) I should just not of responded when I was called a "hillbilly hick" because of my opinions...In fact I had earned MANY reputation points for the post that fired up Freediver81 enough to call me that - Them reputation points are NOW gone...I would of kept them had I not fired BACK...Again...My sincere apologies. I should have known better than to even acknowledge the post and should have "turned the other cheek"...Its hard when I feel I've been attacked though.
