Hi Hunters!

I got a brand new cressi-sub-sl pneumatic speargun.Length about 60 cm.
I will start my next trip to Thailand and Indonesia in few weeks but can`t
try out the gun before.Does anybody now the range of this type?
How many times can I shoot before I have to reload the pressure?

Thanks
glassfish

Useful range will be about 1-2m off the end of the gun
you can take many hundreds (if not thousands) of shots as no gas should be lost when you fire
cheers

Hi Dave!

Thanks for the answer but now I am,uhhh a bit confused cause I`ve read here from lots of other spearoes that these guns are so powerfull.
I mean that 1-2 meters is not enough. If it is like that,I will have to buy definately another one.
I already left my "beuchat 60cm" in Indonesia .The effective range was just about 2-3 meters. The problem is,that I don`t want want to carry a very long one with me cause I travel a long time and have to cross borders as well.Longest I can put in my backpack is about 60cm.
If I buy a longer one for rubber bands,is it possible to seperate the handle so that I can take it with me?

Thanks
glassfish

it is always possible to separate the handle and muzzle, cant you try and buy a long gun 100 cm or so, that is very cheap in Thailand, I hear the fish are quite big there and visibility is good, not sure if 60 cm will do the trick.
