Have been in the Kingdom for 2 years. Line fishing in RT just off the camp, did lots of good spearing. Trevally, Hamour and Sabaitee. 6-15kg fish. Looking for buddies, fishermen, dive sites and any info on the area.

There is a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore like an idiot.

Check last dive north of Jeddah.

Hi kuriative, welcome to DB. Very nice vids.

The whaleshark had what looked like a couple of tags on his dorsal, acousitic tags maybe. Do you know anything about that?

Connor

That they were. There were about 18 - 19 whale sharks in the area. The 'Scientist' who were tagging them were hoping to get live feeds on migration routes, feeding habits and depth of swims. I wish I had gotten some video the tags closer. The whale sharks had all been tagged in the week that we were there. You could still see some blood coming out of the dorsal fins. I will ask around to see if there is a website to see the info they are collecting. Cheers
