Hi to all, here is my problem I just order a Mares Pure Instinct RashGuad specs said that had a loading pad but didnt have one so selling this one to a friend. So here we go again looking for a new rashguard on the internet all of them said that they have loading pad and hoods but when I call the store none of them had loading pad and hoods. So Im seeking spearo guidance. Looking for a rashguard with hood and loading Pad or can be a 1.5MM..I do spearfishing in Puerto Rico warm water entire year....I will appreciate any help...Thanks in advance Fred

Ulusub makes double-thickness lycra suits with loading pads. I used one in the Solomons to great effect. Sounds like what you're after?

Hey Dano. How you guys secure that hood to the rash guard. Does it just slide over it stay put?? i havnt had much luck with that method, I was going to try adding velcro or even sew it in my suit. Problem is at the time i had a reversible suit so i couldn't.

The hood is not secured. It is just tucked in under the shirt or wetsuit. There should be enough bib on the hood to keep it in place.

Hi why dont you keep the Mares one and use 2 x mousemats glued together and wear then under the rash vest next to your skin.Works fine.

alternatively you could buy a rob allen loading pad. nice little piece of kit and you can always wearing over a wetsuit or even a t-shirt.
