was posting and somehow lost it... writing again:

been diving for 3 years (past 2 years with same open cell wetsuit).

this rash started to happen just this year, but happens every time i go now.

rash: non-itchy, tiny tiny nipple like shape (raised pointed center, and red surrounding), and they're on my butt, waist, and just recently, under my arms, and sides of torso + thighs. ONE on my arm.

the key thing is that it's not itchy.... so i don't know what it could be.

i do pee while i dive, and i do use conditioner (but i've been using the conditioner when i first got this suit with no rash).

my friends don't get this rash- so it can't be the water (sonoma, mendocino, ca)

it's taking long time to completely go away- turns dark brown and fades after a few months. it's not itchy, so i'm not putting anything on.

anybody have similar reaction? anyone found culprit and the solution?

Could be the lube.

This is the first year I needed lube. Fondueset had some green, organic, la de da expensive lube that I dove with for a week, no problem. Next trip, tried some cheapo stuff "Suave" or something like that. After a week of daily diving, it gave me a bad rash, particularly bad where I had previous skin abrasions. The rash was quite uncomfortable and still itches, 5 days later.

I'm going to get some of what Fondue was using.

Hope that helps,

Connor
