Hi all

Is it possible to receive all new threads (or at least title and link) by email?

Thank you

Yes, there are at least two ways to achieve it:

1) Use RSS - recent browsers as well email readers support RSS, so it is sufficient subscribing to the forum feed. If you subscribe with your email reader, the notifications about the new threads will then display there too. This is the feed URL, but you can access through the orange icon in the menu line of your browser too:
http://feeds.deeperblue.com/deeperblue-forums

2) Subscribe to any subforums you are interested in - simply enter the subforum, and then click "Forum Tools" (right top of the thread list table), and there select "Subscribe To This Forum". You will then receive notifications for all posts in that forum (not only new threads).

Ah, and I forgot to mention that you can fine-tune the emailing options for subscribed thread in your User Control Panel >> Settings & Options >> Edit Options (http://forums.deeperblue.com/profile.php?do=editoptions)

You can choose whether you want to receive the email notifications for subscribed threads instantly, once a day, weekly, or never at all.

And BTW, you subscribe automatically to each thread you post to. You can subscribe to individual threads even without posting, though - see "Subscribe To This Thread" in "Thread Tools" at the top of each thread.

Personally, since I come here frequently, and get already too much email anyway, I opted for never receiving any notification at all. Instead, I bookmarked my User Control Panel page, so when I come, I see immediately which of my subscribed threads or forums have new posts. Then I go to New Posts, open those that look interesting, and then mark as read all the rest, so that I see only new posts the next time I come.
