I go spearfishing with my friends off south florida. I usually just go to about 40 ft of water and look for reefs get into the water and look for fish. Sometimes i get lucky and shoot some nice hogs and groupers but i would like to get some better results. What can i do to find better spots, should i look at wrecks or lookup dive spots online? I was also wondering about blue water spearfishing i would like to get started with that but i dont really know how to start.

lots and lots of info here just do a search....best bet is to look for changes in depths on your bottom reader.
