Hey everyone,

First post ahh yeah! I picked up an old 70's healthways competition off the ebay: [ame="http://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-HEALTHWAYS-COMPETITION-MID-HANDLE-MINI-SPEAR-GUN-/310684490393?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT&nma=true&si=lQmcf10Dkg3kyF8R3I9ihNMoZy0%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc"]VINTAGE HEALTHWAYS COMPETITION MID-HANDLE 'MINI' SPEAR GUN.[/ame]

I figured I could fix it up and use it for the rivers and canals here in Texas. My question is what type of bands should I throw on it. It looks like the shaft might be bent too... I hope not but from the pictures upon closer inspection it does look somewhat bent. What type of paint would last and be good to use as well? Maybe I'll just use car auto paint or bedliner. Thanks
