I've just moved into the Destin/FWB area and very interested in getting back into the sport. I grew up freediving in CA and HI for many years but its been a few since I've been in the water and I'm excited to get back in. I was wondering if there are any clubs or groups of freedivers in the local area who'd be willing to share some tips or info to help me find my way around. Any info/suggestions would be great. Thanks!

Hi Ryan,

Welcome to DB. There have been several threads about diving in that area. Use the Search function for "Destin" or "Panhandle" There are some good springs NW of you, Morrison, Deleon, etc. Try a search for those as well. Look at the Florida Freedivers thread.

Good luck, I used to love the Destin jetty.
