hey everyone,
i just was on a family trip to Martha's Vineyard this weekend and there was this man who owned a Spora Sub gun. i didnt ask him about it as he seemed busy with his fish and children running around etc. i looked at it a while until i had the image in my head. So i got home and i looked up the gun on the the Spora Sub site. i instantly recognized it as the Aspic Pro. how does this gun compare to the Riffe Competitor #00??? i am looking to buy a gun and the Aspic is sooo much cheaper than the Riffe and if it the guns compare about the same, it gonna be the Aspic. just a note that i am on a budget of about $200 so i will probably get the Aspic since it is cheaper. any feedback would be great!!! happy diving,

Well the aspic is a quality eruo gun where as the riffe is a quality wooden american gun. I use both on a regular basis but find the wooden option better all round whether that be european or american; both are well made, given the choice I would go with the Riffe if I lived near a Riffe dealer or spares where 50 - 50
But thats me
