I've decided to sell my little riffe MT0. Its a great little gun but we can only
spear carp and suckers here - and I won't shoot what I won't eat. The gun is in
perfect shape and has only been used for target practice. I took it to Telegraph
Cove with me - but the one day I opted for it instead of my camera all I saw
were spectacular looking Sculpins you could pick up. Anyway - as seldom as I
get away to a place I could spear I'm better off selling and putting it toward a
new camera.

The gun is rigged with a 1/4 x 34" shaft, a 5/8 and a 9/16 band and two wraps of
mono. It shoots smartly to the end of two wraps (12ft) this way - though the
light shaft does not have a lot of penetration at that range - for that I have a
9/32 x38" shaft which I think you can get 14 or 15 feet out of if you rig it
right. I also have some additional bands - two 9/16 a 5/8 and a 3/4. With the
lighter shaft I like the 5/8, 9/16 combo - almost no recoil (I took a video of
it shooting in this config - no visible recoil and a very flat shot out to the
end of the line )and very accurate. For the heavier shaft you may want to go two
5/8 or add another 9/16 - but that one shoots nicely too. The gun has the Riffe
vinyl enclosed track which makes it extremely quiet.

The gun sinks shaft out - but is too small to be heavy and tracks like nothing.
I'd like to see $300 out of it with everything and for that will throw in a very nice Riffe gun case that costs over $100 by itself. Paypal is best :)

got any pics? is this a metal gun?

Yup - Riffe Metal Tech - model 0 - You can check the Riffe site for a pic - I'll post one in the thread when I get a minute to process the image. Its in pretty much pristine condition. I trimmed the back of the vinyl track down where it was catching if you pulled the bands back too far - thats about it. Very sturdy gun.

Hi,

I know its an older post, but do you still have your metaltech gun for sale?
