Curious to know how others do this. I have a Rob Allen 70cm that I want to be able to freely interchange shooting lines - a single wrap for one condition, a double wrap for another. However, I am not sure how this can be achieved without constantly consuming mono shooting line.
The connection where the shooting line meets the gun is a no-brainer: just a simple crimped loop and then there's a swiveling release clip for it. However, I am not sure what to do at the spearshaft end. From the factory it is just a crimped loop also but in order for you to get it off to replace it with another line, you pretty much have to cut it, which ultimately makes it shorter and thus, not re-usable.
What do others do in this situation? Is there a 'slim-line' sort of swiveling clip that can be put on at the spearshaft end, without adding much drag?
Thanks.
