I may just have to spring for that one. I have one of his others and though I don't use the recipes much I love the guy's attitude. And he's a free diver!

Sounds like a good price and the reviews sound very promising. I saw the River Cottage big book on sea food for sale second hand at a local market recently. I think it was £35+ new, on sale used for £12. I thought about offering them £10 but after a quick flick through decided I could happily live without it. I've lately acquired an aversion to TV books -- they are often glossy, superficial and formulaic (like our society?) . Somebody bought me a Ray Mears book (love Ray Mears) but I was incredibly disappointed by it - I was hoping for lots of insights & techniques but it was more like a waffly eco-tourism (an oxymoron if ever there was one) guide. Perhaps just the wrong Ray Mears book?
